An exceptionally tricky handicap to finish the evening. The ex-French Satwa Pearl made a pleasing UK debut at Yarmouth while Irish import Butler is the type his trainer does so well with and he was impressive at Ripon. Wiggy Smith is just 2lb higher than when scoring at Leicester in July and must be respected after a very good reappearance but the interesting one here is SENSE OF PRIDE. John Gosden's filly, a daughter of Sadler's Wells out of a high-class mare, has the scope to go on to better things and was a very impressive maiden winner at Chester in September. She should be fit enough and can begin making up for lost time. Mauritino won twice over hurdles before landing a Newbury handicap from 6lb lower while French import Inef ran very well on this track last month and should be winning soon.
