A tough one to call as there are some nice types entered including the Henry Cecil pair Asterism, a filly by Motivator out of a winning miler, and the well-connected Astrantia, who is related to a host of winners. The Godolphin pair Bugler's Dream, who is out of a mare who won several times in the USA, and Timeline, who had no answer to Mijhaar at Haydock but still ran well, are others to consider. ALMAGEST has a pedigree that mixes stamina and speed and is related to some very useful types. He looked very inexperienced when making his debut here last month but still produced a run good enough to take this with normal improvement. Danehill Dante was surprisingly beaten at Kempton and is better judged on his very promising opening effort at Newbury.
