First Cat has run well here in the past but was hanging badly on his latest visit last week and needs to return to form. Ryan Moore was on board Edgewater when he scored over the C&D in April and takes over again after his mount disappointed at Newbury. NIGHT LILY can take this as she is very reliable and wasn't beaten far in a tough York handicap last time. She had earlier run well in the Spring Cup at Newbury and has won from 7lb higher on Polytrack. Fantasy Gladiator has never won on turf despite being lower in the weights than on the all-weather where he's been successful four times and Norman Orpen is another yet to score on turf though he's only raced on the surface three times
