Almost all of these arrive in good form. FAITHFUL MOUNT just gets the nod as he won a soft-ground handicap at a higher level at Salisbury in October, when Champagne Champ was well beaten, and will be better for a recent run there. Jacob Cats hasn't run well when tackling the trip in the past but most certainly hasn't been stopping when completing a double over shorter. Spice Fair is the only course-and-distance winner in the field and any further rain would greatly aid his chances while Be My Sea battled to victory over two miles at Kempton and will be running on at the finish. The New Pharaoh has won a couple of Class 5 handicaps over 1m4f but stays this trip and is still on the upgrade. None of the remaining trio can be ruled out in a tricky finale.
