Verdict

Beau Phil has finished third in three previous starts around here but is worth opposing again as he had every chance over course and distance last time. Arthur Burrell has hinted at ability in both starts over hurdles but has yet to encounter ground as fast as this. BANNY'S LAD is one of two runners to have travelled down from Mick Easterby's North Yorkshire yard and he can strike for the raiding party having not been disgraced in a couple of handicaps lately at Market Rasen. Asknotwhat and Mr Mountain are likely improvers.
