Maker's Mark gets our stamp of approval over Masai Moon, Money For Fun and Impromptu to name but a few. Maker's Mark has already caught the eye twice, with placed efforts at Windsor and Newbury in recent weeks, and in all probability has less to do than on that latest outing in which he got within two-and-a-half lengths of the odds-on Aidan O'Brien inmate Astronomer Royal. Although another furlong would not come amiss in time, he should make the most of today's opportunity to open his account. Masai Moon's fourth at Windsor the time before last has been given a boost by the subsequent victory of the fifth Sri Pekan Two, so he has to be given a mention, while Money for Fun's stable landed a nice touch with another youngster at York on Tuesday, so any support for him in the ring here would be significant. Impromptu failed to progress when switched to the all-weather and cannot be ignored back on Turf, but the one that they all have to beat is Maker's Mark.
