West Leake, Cwmni and Stamford Blue catch the eye here, with West Leake taken to complete the hat-trick. A winner at Lingfield in February, Cwmni has been very consistent since, hitting the frame in each run. She looks sure to be thereabouts, but the handicapper has been unrelenting and a place may be the best she can hope for. Stamford Blue has not been successful since an all-weather win in July, but the gelding showed signs of a return to form when a good third last time. He is 1lb lower than when last successful and he can go well at a nice price. West Leake is on a winning run and the minimum trip or six furlongs seem to come alike to him. He is only 4lbs higher than his latest success and that looks generous. West Leake can score again.
