Aypeeyes looks to be favoured by the weights here and as in in-form runner gets the nod ahead of Pactolos Way, while Golden Sprite is capable of going very well. The selection has been knocking on the door over the past month, twice finishing runner-up over both this trip and 12f and handling both fast and soft ground. Sylvester Kirk's gelding was only just held over the longer trip at Bath last time and off this mark can go one better here. Pactolos Way won a 9f maiden at Wolverhampton last year and then suffered for that with the handicapper but off this mark of 64 he can go very close. Golden Sprite win over this trip, also at Bath, last October and went well on her seasonal reappearance. Rod Millman's runner are still going well enough so a good run is forseen. Mae Cigan has dropped in the weights and has chances here, while Fangorn Forest showed a glimmer of form last time and off this mark can get involved, but preference is for Aypeeyes.
