Verdict

Hot Fuss obviously sets a strong form standard after only being beaten a length-and-a-quarter into fifth place in the Chesham Stakes at Royal Ascot when sent off an unconsidered 50/1 shot. He'll be hard to beat reverting to novice company, but MAFNOOD (NAP) may prove quite a formidable opponent. He showed a deal of promise when fourth on his Newbury debut when backed into favouritism, seems sure to step forward from that run and his talented apprentice's claim means he receives 5lb from Hot Fuss. Travolta has shown enough to warrant each-way possibilities and Cool Dividend needs taking seriously in light of the current excellent form of the Cox juveniles. Mortlake is another newcomer worth checking out in the market.
