With the newcomers making only limited appeal, this looks a suitable opportunity for BELLE D'OR to get off the mark. John Gosden's filly had the misfortune of finding only her stablemate too good on debut at Newmarket last month, and this appears to be a much easier maiden on paper. Lily Junior seemed not to get home at Newcastle over 1m2f having travelled with a degree of purpose so today's drop back to a mile should suit. Alys Love rates the benchmark for the others off an official rating of 79 while Dubai Hadeia and Interject appear to have plenty to do in order to reach it. Cayman Cry found it happening all too quickly in a hot maiden at Goodwood last season and is noted in the market on a belated reappearance.
