This open handicap can go the way of Crimson Fern; Pic Up Sticks and Pretty Miss rate as the main dangers. The selection is a filly in fine form and she looks sure to run a big race. She goes very well for young Patrick Hills and with conditions to suit she sets the standard for the rest. Pic Up Sticks is a course and distance winner and he will be suited by this drop in trip. However, he has been a bit disappointing so far this season and he is hard to recommend with confidence. Pretty Miss is another who has been disappointing of late and her overall strike-rate leaves a lot to be desired. Malapropism wins in his turn so he is capable of going close, but Crimson Fern is the form horse and she can win again.
