In depth

Verdict

Cross The Line Summer Recluse and Drumming Party are three against the field in this competitive finale and the vote is given to Cross The Line. The selection was a fair fourth behind Boundless Prospect last time out, that form looks rock solid in the context of this race and with the race looking sure to be run to suit he looks the value bet in an open affair. Summer Recluse rates the main danger on his latest second behind Spirit Of Conniston, that for has since been franked and with this longer trip in his favour he will not be far away. Drumming Party is another worthy of respect as he was unlucky in running last time and off the same mark here here he should be closely watched in the market. Of the remainder Guildenstern is from a yard in form and could go well at a price but Cross The Line sets a fair standard and will be hard to beat.
