Verdict

Starlarks can take advantage of this small field and land herself in the winners enclosure once again at the expense of Soul Sista and Buddy Marvellous. The selection broke her maiden tag at Newbury after showing promise on both her previous starts. She still looks like she could be improving and looks the form pick to win again. Of her rivals Soul Sista will pose as the biggest danger after showing decent form in the early part of the season. She landed a Beverly maiden in soft ground but has found life tough in handicaps since. That said she has performed with credit and has every chance back on a favoured soft surface. Buddy Marvellous comes from the Hannon stable and has shown some ability in his two races to date. The fact that he was sent off favourite last time when beaten into fifth place was slightly disappointing but with further improvement still to come he is worth noting. But for the winner we return to Starlarks.
