The best race on the card can be short listed to New Seeker, Home Affairs, Rathor and Layman with the vote going to the last named. The Godolphin team have been under a cloud this season but are starting to have a few winners of late. Layman had been running in Group one company last season as a two year old and did manage a good third at Longchamp. If reproducing the same level of form he should be able to win on his racecourse reappearance. New Seeker won at York and Newbury on his last two outings and is on the look out for his hat-trick. He looks an improving type but this is a step up in grade so will have to improve again to score. Home Affairs ran well in Group one company in France last time out. He looks another on the upgrade but will have to be at his best here. As will Rathor who is thrown in the deep end after running with great credit all year. His most recent win was at Nottingham in handicap company which he won by eight lengths. This is a huge step up in grade and is worth noting in the market. But for the winner we return to Layman.
