Verdict
Bowness, Campeon and Talcen Gwyn are three against the field in this competitive affair and the vote is given to Campeon. The selection was a fair second off this mark behind Bold Cheverak last time out. This looks easier and under conditions that suit he is taken to go one better.Bowness rates the main danger on his latest third behind Vague Star but he ran as if in the handicappers grip on that occasion and for that reason he is overlooked. Talcen Gwyn Island Swing another worthy of respect on his latest second behind Island Swing but he keeps rising in the weights without winning. Of the remainder Diamond Katie is game and consistent and is sure to run her race but in a race that throws up more questions than answers for the winner we return to Campeon.
