SUBA looks an improving filly and she can get her head in front at the main expense of Ave and Perfect Friend. Luca Cumani has his string in good form and there was plenty to like about the way Suba scored last time out when she dead-heated with Charlotte Point. She was returning from a break that day so there should be more to come and she rates as a confident choice. Perfect Friend won well last time when she beat My Best Bet at Newbury with plenty in hand. She is upped in trip here which will not be a problem and she should give another good account of herself. Ave ran in Group company last season but she was a little disappointing on her seasonal return and there is a slight doubt over whether or not she has trained on. Andrew Balding has enjoyed plenty of success over the last couple of weeks so Farleigh is another that should not be dismissed lightly on her handicap debut. However, we prefer the claims of Suba who can continue on her upward curve.
