It may be worth taking a chance with COACHLIGHT in a race where a market check is essential given the number of viable alternatives. Noonenose and Tullius are possibly two of the less obvious contenders to keep an eye on. A high draw can often prove to be advantageous and it's to be hoped that Coachlight is streetwise enough to be able to make the best use of his berth in 14 on his racecourse bow and there's hope for his chances on paper as his dam was a smart juvenile in her day. Noonenose is a half-brother to Corporal Maddox and a stablemate was well backed on debut at Newmarket in the week, suggesting that the yard's juveniles are getting into gear whilst Tullius is also related to a fair juvenile performer, is nicely drawn and hails from a shrewd and in-form yard. Sir Rocky was made favourite on debut and could leave that form behind whilst All The Evil, Marzante, Token Gift, Gamesmanship and Perfect Cracker can all be thrown into the mix as we look to the market for clues in a race where we side with Coachlight.
