A speculative punt on LEITZU is recommended, while Kingsdine and First Term are others with solid claims that ought to be given time for consideration. First Term met trouble at the start at Warwick last time out and struggled to land a serious blow as a result. She did finish-off very strongly in that race, though. And as this stiff finish is expected to be to her liking, the Richard Hannon-trained filly has a solid chance on theses terms. Kingsdine fully deserved his victory at Bath 16 days ago - gaining just reward for a series of near misses. A 5lb higher mark is fair in the context of this race and another bold show can be expected. Support in the betting ring for the likes of Madlool and Sonny G would also be noteworthy, as either is capable of nicking a place in the frame if all eighteen take their chances. However, Leitzu responded well for Kieren Fallon at Chepstow a fortnight ago and, as the Irishman now knows a bit more about what it's going to take to get the best out of the Barathea filly, the 'Fallon Factor' is again going to be a most crucial element.
