SCORN is worth chancing here; Citrus Girl and Marie De Guise are the best alternatives. Having won a maiden in good style at Nottingham, it was a touch disconcerting to see Marie De Guise post a modest effort at Sandown last month. However, that may simply have been an off day and it would come as no surprise to see Sir Michael Stoute's filly give a better account of herself this afternoon. Citrus Girl has shown a liking for making the running and is sure to make this a good test if she gets her own way from the front. Babycakes and Lucky Breeze are a couple of others that will benefit from a strong pace and, given luck in running, either could be capable of causing a minor upset. However, Scorn has been the model of consistency in her four previous starts and, as she seems the most versatile regarding the state of the ground, she is the one taken to be least bothered by the unsettled weather forecast.
