There are a couple of interesting newcomers in this including Cheveley Park’s Davydenko, who is a half-brother to three winners, and Young Merlin, an €80,000 son of Camelot. But some of those with experience set a decent standard with BEAT LE BON, a €100,000 Wootton Bassett colt, tops that list following a head defeat on debut at Newbury. The Frankel colt Cap Francais has a middle-distance pedigree but was also second on his first run at Newbury while Bo Samraan has shown some ability and is the type to improve with experience.
