Not a strong contest for a Listed event with several of these already looking exposed. Ruby Rocket has done nothing wrong so far and is worthy of her place in this, but the vote goes to Nyramba, who looks sure to appreciate this step up in trip, having got going far too late over five-furlongs last time. Out of a mare that won over a mile at three, this trip is certain to bring about improvement. Ruby Rocket has more to do than when landing a couple of minor contests, but she is still open to improvement and must not be underestimated. Changari can be forgiven her effort behind Ruby Rocket at Haydock as her saddle slipped. However, she does look to have something to find with the principals, given her overall profile. Why Dubai was workmanlike in her defeat of Baffle at Headquarters last month and can only get better, but the one thing she did do there was stay well and whether this drop down in trip will suit, one cannot be sure. Anthos is clearly going the right way and is respected, but the likes of Cape Trafalgar, Dontstopthemusic and Hilites all look to have plenty to do in this company. Newcomer Indiana Blues is interesting as she is out of a mare that won the Group 1 Nunthorpe Stakes, only to lose the race in the stewards room. A half-sister to the smart juvenile sprinter Speed Cop, she is certainly one to keep an eye on in the market, but we will stick with Nyramba, who is sure to benefit from this extra furlong.
