A decent little contest with Fantastic View and Punctillious bidding to retain their unbeaten record, but neither has an easy task under their penalties and Son Of Greek Myth is preferred. John Gosden's colt is from the same family as useful middle-distance performers Multicoloured and Gamut and is sure to be all the wiser for his debut at Newmarket where he was runner-up to a more than useful sort in Let The Lion Roar. Fantastic View looks sure to appreciate this step up in trip, but he has a hefty penalty to carry for winning, what looked an ordinary maiden at Ascot. The highly-regarded Punctillious created a favourable impression when making a winning debut at Yarmouth. Green both in the paddock and during the race itself, she can only improve for the experience, but she faces no easy task giving weight to the selection. Avesomeofthat is open to improvement, but will need to to figure in this, while a bigger threat should be the beautifully bred Glide. A half-brother to six-furlong winner Magic Glade, he is also from the same family as 1000 Guineas winner Wince. He holds entries in all the big back-end races and is clearly held in high-regard, but we will stick with Son Of Greek Myth , who has the edge in experience.
