A strong looking beginners' event. Baily Green has competed at a high level but hasn't progressed as expected though he had chase debutant Silverhand, who started a warm favourite, behind at Kilbeggan nine days ago. Laganbank was in fine form over timber on fast ground last summer and has been highly tried this year so he's an interesting newcomer to fences as are the lightly-raced youngsters Old Laxey and Pat Garrett, the latter a surprise winner over hurdles at Sligo. Burn And Turn is one to keep an eye on but it's GLIBIN, who made a very promising chasing debut behind the classy-looking Arvika Ligeonniere at Punchestown, who is handed the vote. Touch Back has been going well in strong company over timber and is another newcomer to fences who should be monitored for the future.
