Ana Lichious has defied big weights to win at Hamilton and Ayr recently and a 7lb claimer will aid her cause here. But she doesn’t have much form over this longer trip so others are preferred. Randalls Ur Poet went close on numerous occasions over hurdles last winter but hasn’t raced since March and efforts on the Flat in 2016 left much to be desired. One Cool Poet has won on the Flat but not since 2015, though he’s run well the last twice over timber. Greanta has each-way claims at the weights but we’ll take a chance on TRUMP CARD, who is only a pound higher than when second at Gowran in May and has run well enough since to be considered for a race like this.
