Dandys Gold made a promising return from a break when fourth at Cork, scene of her victory in May. Tribal Path has disappointed the last twice and it’s a long time since he got his head in front but he continues to slip down the weights. Handsome Maverick has only gone up a pound for recent close third at the Curragh but seems to run his best races at that track. LANDLINE was behind in that Curragh contest but missed the break and is better off at the weights. He’s won twice at Naas this summer and was also a fair fourth at Navan over an inadequate 5f so remains in good form. Captain Dion hasn’t raced since April, however, and Simiyna is in danger of becoming disappointing.
