SPEED DATING can pay and we will give Sir Mark Prescott's colt another chance here; the list of dangers is headed by Steel Trade and Piquante. The selection hails from a yard in good form and he clearly did not get home over 1m2f last time out. The drop back to a mile should see him in a better light and as he remains unexposed we fancy him to resume winning ways. Steel Trade is another dropped in trip but he is bred to need further than this and he did produce arguably his best effort so far over 1m2f here earlier in the month. Piquante is having only her third run in handicap company so she has to be of interest. She is dropped in trip but she is bred to be suited by a bit of cut in the ground and she may find this ground a little on the quick side. Upton Seas hails from a yard who like a tilt at the ring so a watching brief on the market is advised. There is plenty to recommend Speed Dating who gets our vote.
