This is a tricky maiden in which narrow preference is given to MUSTAKMIL over Peaceful Rule and My Verse. The selection ran his best race yet at Nottingham earlier in the month when he chased home Poyle Meg and a reproduction of that effort might just suffice here. He has trip and ground to suit and he should make a bold bid to score. Peaceful Rule has had a few chances now and the draw is against him today. He has been a runner-up on four occasions and he may have to settle for some place prize money again today. My Verse is another who has not been done any favours by the draw and she does have a lengthy absence to overcome. However, she shaped with plenty of promise on her debut and she has obvious ability so she is not one to dismiss lightly. There are several interesting newcomers here including Tanfidh and Heavenly Stella. A market move for either should be noted, but we will stick with Mustakmil as the most likely winner.
