In the finale, Tangible gets the vote, with Greenwich Meantime seen as her biggest danger. The Sir Mark Prescott-trained selection was always going to appreciate a trip on breeding and she proved that very point when scoring at Sandown on August 11th. Much as she then found Maggie Tulliver too strong for her last time, a two-pounds rise for that effort still leaves her on a competitive mark, we feel, and she gets our support here. Much as Rule For Ever may have been a little fortunate to win a 14-furlong event at Yarmouth last time, that was his best run to date and, with the extra two furlongs proving likely to suit, he can go well again. Vicious Prince took advantage of a falling mark to score at Newcastle earlier this month, but was beaten from a revised mark last time and remains five pounds above a winning rating. However, given that he is just two pounds above a winning mark, Greenwich Meantime looks set to run in a big race in this five-runner affair. That said, with her stable in such good heart, we will side with Tangible.
