Knights Table was two from two over course and distance last summer but was comfortably seen off by FIRE FIGHTING at Newmarket later having climbed the weights. On similar terms today, Mark Johnston’s six-year-old is fancied to hold sway again having already had three runs this year. Cymro is an interesting runner having won at Thirsk and Haydock over this trip last year. He wasn’t disgraced at Pontefract earlier this month and Tawdeea is another to consider after a better effort at Newcastle. Noble Gift won this last year and is 2lb lower so is also worth a second look.
