Not too much to go on but Vonadaisy looks best of those to have faced the starter. Willie Haggas' charge has been resident in many notebooks as a "future winner" but somehow hasn't quite managed to get around to it as yet. Third in an Ascot maiden over six furlongs, she was fourth in a decent Doncaster Nursery. Marcus Tregoning has posted a 23% strike rate with his juveniles and Tamarina is respected despite concerns that she was a relatively cheap purchase at the sales. Sir Bond is related to high class juvenile and three-year-old Tagula. Mrs Pankhurst has plenty of stamina in her pedigree and may be seen to better effect with age. Hawkit is respected has a relation to a number of decent American stock. It is slightly worrying that he has already had the unkindest cut of all but the booking of George Duffield looks interesting. Vonadaisy must surely win a race before the end of the campaign and we will side with her today.
