A chance is taken with Restart in the finale. Stoop To Conquer, Bond Casino and Lady killer Queen are others that merit a place on the shortlist. Lady Killer Queen is closely matched with Sendali and Mister Pete from their encounter at Thirsk 15 days ago and, admittedly, needs luck in running to swing the result her way. However, she has little to find on a strict reading of the form and, from a punting perspective, she makes appeal at the likely odds. Bond Casino has taken time to come to hand this season but did post an improved effort last time out. Some cut in the ground may be the key to him on turf these days and he is no forlorn hope under the prevailing conditions. Stoop To Conquer is well handicapped on his old form and, having gone very close at Bath last month, he would also be dangerous to write off just yet. This is probably his right grade these days and a big effort can be expected from the mount of Tony Culhane. However, Restart will love the conditions and, having proved he retains ability with a solid effort at Redcar in July, this lightly raced seven-year-old is a solid betting option in the last at Ripon this afternoon.
