Last year's renewal was won by a top weight and if Silverheels were to run up to the form of his recent second on the Polytrack at Kempton, Paul Cole's grey would be a danger to all. Any Mark Johnston runner at Ripon is worthy of respect and in receipt of a valuable weight-for-age allowance it could be worth giving FLASHLIGHT another chance. The three-year-old had been notably busy throughout May but he didn't disgrace himself at Chester after a brief absence, and he comes to this assignment having dropped a further 2lb down the handicap. Oratory was well backed ahead of a recent visit to Ayr and having shown no worthwhile form for some time, he wasn't far away from landing the gamble. Elaine Burke's charge gets another chance off the same mark minus Joey Haynes' 7lb claim. Hakuna Matata looks to have struck up a decent partnership with Connor Beasley and the pair bid for a third success from six starts.
