Verdict
WISE VENTURE struggled to make much impact following a successful juvenile campaign but Alan Jarvis seems to have got him back to some semblance of form and he could potentially be very well handicapped these days. Dana's Present was cheered only by the bookmakers as he delivered a 33/1 shock at Chepstow, and George Baker attempts to strike again while the iron is hot. Brighton winner, Hamis Al Bin, wasn't too far away from a follow up at Bath while Fairy Mist performed with plenty of credit over a mile at the same venue when racing from out of the handicap. Takitwo won off this mark at Salisbury last year and the booking of Seb Sanders looks significant. Flavius Victor has won twice on the Polytrack and attempts to take advantage of a lower mark on the turf.
