In depth

Verdict

This won’t take much winning but Guvenor's Choice is proving expensive to follow and there is no guarantee a step up in trip will bring about improvement. Najashee has flopped when tried beyond a mile in the past while Palazzo’s record on Turf is abysmal. Recent rain is very much in favour of MAC AILEY, who has been dropped a couple of pounds since his run at Wolverhampton and could be poised to pick up the winning thread again. Troop was too keen on his return to action and is capable of better.
