Abel Handy is 6lb lower than when scoring at Musselburgh last year and has a third at Chelmsford under his belt but he’s a 5f specialist. Fortamour has been doing his winning over 7f at Newcastle and is 2lb higher than when beaten there two weeks ago. Canford Bay acts on Turf and the all-weather but he is another who has shown hos best form over the minimum trip. Tim Easterby runs three but the interesting one is three-times course and distance winner BOSSIPOP, who probably has the plum draw and has begun the new campaign on a lenient mark.
