Rievaulx World sets a high standard here and is likely to take a lot of beating judged on his three efforts to date. Many positives can be drawn from each of those appearances with his form being franked on more than one occasion and although he shapes as a horse who will appreciate the step up to six furlongs, his experience can see him through. Rio Cobolo showed some promise in a Haydock maiden won by the Winsor Castle contestant Dabbers Chief. Just 3l in front of him was the well-supported Carnaby Haggerston, who ran very well at York on Friday and it would be foolish to underrate this juvenile who is bred to be a natural sprinter. Sunset Crest was the apparent stable second string when staying on late-in-the-day to fill the runner-up berth on his racecourse debut. The winner of that event finished second in a listed contest at Cork on Sunday and it was not a bad effort although the drop back to five is not sure to suit taking into account how he shaped first time out. The Mick Channon trained - BA Globetrotter has the benefit of two outings to date but showed very little in those two events while Abu Derby got very stirred up prior to his racecourse debut. Rievaulx World is picked to break his maiden tag here at the fourth attempt.
