    Verdict

Prolific winner Court Of Appeal returns to handicaps on a decent mark and must be respected, however Osolomio's recent form looks solid and he gets the vote ahead of Sudden Impulse. Hugh Bowman takes over from Dale Gibson in the saddle on Osolomio and a change of jockey might help him get his head back in front. A return to this trip should help and whilst he is now on a career-high mark, he is in good heart and looks progressive. Fossgate showed very little on his seasonal reappearance but that has been the case in the past and whilst he may not win today, one can expect him to finish much closer. Maybe next time could be his day. Fenners scored at Newcastle recently but that was a poor contest and further improvement is required. Sudden Impulse ran atrociously at York last time out but any horse can be forgiven one run, especially at York, and so he cannot be ruled out. Court Of Appeal still retains plenty of ability and loves his racing so rule him out at your peril, however Osolomio looks progressive and gets the narrow vote.
