        Verdict

        OUT THE RING ticks plenty of boxes in this seller with Blue Rum and Gasparilla also considered. Kevin Ryan's Acclamation colt has shown he has plenty of ability on his two appearances so far on the racecourse and if he can continue his progression he should go close. Lady Lube Rye was behind him last time so if she runs well in the opener then that will give the form a big boost. Blue Rum is the obvious alternative as he ran well for a long way last time, albeit in a weak claimer, and he shaped as though he would learn plenty for the experience. Gasparilla was a cheap purchase but she ran with promise on her debut. More is required to win this but she clearly has ability and she has to be on the shortlist. Lairy is an interesting newcomer and he is worth a market check from the plum draw, but Out The Ring also has a positive draw here and she is taken to put her experience to good use and get her head in front.
