KAHSABELLE could strike for her locally based trainer although she could be given a fright by Candle, Je Ne Sais Plus and Tokahy. It'll also be necessary to keep a close eye on Sweet Seville for signs of confidence in her chances on debut despite the fact that she was no great shakes on the level. Tokahy was beaten a long way on her hurdling bow at Towcester but showed enough in bumpers to believe that she can make her mark at this level and she could be worth another chance. Candle was decent on the Flat and her hurdling bow is best ignored as she was pitched in at the deep end at Aintree. This is more realistic and market confidence behind her chances would be encouraging. Stablemate Je Ne Sais Plus returned to form at Newton Abbot and should be involved but preference is for Kahsabelle who hasn't been in action since the Cheltenham Festival. She failed to cut much ice in the Fred Winter but has been given plenty of time to recover and the pick of her earlier efforts mark her down as a leading player in this company so Kahsabelle gets the vote.
