Verdict
Thompsons Walls won well last time and he can score again at the main expense of Blue Cross Boy and Salingers Star. This 2-year-old from the Patrick Haslam yard gave the impression that there was plenty more in the tank when he beat Sheekey at Newcastle last time. He is a scopey individual and with the ground in his favour he stands out as the one to beat. His chief rival could be Blue Cross Boy who also won last time when beating Carnival Dream and he is stepped-up in trip again which should suit. However, he lacks the scope of our selection and may have to play second fiddle tonight. Salingers Star beat Romantic Destiny on her debut but she looks the type who will need a bit more time before she is seen at her best, although she might be good enough to claim a place. Miss Bootylishes didn't do a lot wrong last time and could prove best of the rest, while Kevin Ryan's newcomer Love Cat along with Screen Star from the Mark Johnston yard are worth monitoring in the market. However, there was plenty to like about Thompsons Walls when he won last time and he can get his head in front again.
