CHIPPING, a 90,000 euros son of Dark Angel, started a short-priced favourite at Newcastle but raced on the opposite side to the pair who finished in front of him. He's expected to do better and can gain compensation. Sheikspear made a promising start at Nottingham in August and found 7f just too far at Kempton so has to be respected along with Oh Geno, who was going on at the finish over the minimum at Windsor. Bithynia has had plenty of chances but very nearly made all over the track and trip last week so should get into the mix as should Harvest Moon, who wasn't fancied at Nottingham but ran a pleasing race on this sort of ground.
