        Verdict

        ITALIAN BEAUTY, the winner of five of his 14 starts on Turf, was very disappointing in a Ripon seller in May but bounced back to land a Haydock handicap. He easily has the call on official ratings and the ground was very testing when he was beaten a long way at Hamilton last time. Miningrocks, who completed a handicap double in August, was beaten in a course and distance seller last time though the fast ground looked against him. He still managed to have Nonchalant behind though the going also looked against David O'Meara's grey. Eastern Shore has only had three runs and one was in a seller at Hamilton where he attempted to make all but had no answer when headed two furlongs out.
