A moderate contest can see Elite Land open his account, with King's Fable and Peas 'n Beans taken to give him most to do. Most of this field have failed to catch the eye this term and have been progressively stepped up in distance without success, but hopefully the extra three furlongs today will prove beneficial to Elite Land. Neville Byecroft's charge stayed on well to take second near the line when tried over 11 furlongs here 11 days ago, and is certainly worth a try over today's trip in a bid to break his duck. King's Fable has in the main been disappointing, and he too now tries this trip for the first time, as does Peas 'n Beans. Both the last named hail from top stables, but have their share of weight all things considered. Any money in the ring for Bright Spark should be noted, but like the rest, his form is nothing out of the ordinary, and in a race in which bets are best kept to the bare minimum, we look to Elite Land to make the most of this step up in trip.
