YORKSHIRE BLUE can land the finale at the main expense of Verinco, Hansomis and Navajo Joe. Jim Goldie has his string in terrific form at present and Yorkshire Blue looks a sound bet to back up his recent course and distance success. That win came in an apprentice race so gets in here without a penalty and there is little doubt that he is back on a very fair mark. Verinco has yet to get his head in front but he has gone close several times and he takes his chance here for only the third time this year. He is also back in a handicap and he is another who looks to have been given a chance by the handicapper. Hansomis won a couple of races at Carlisle back in June but she has been a little disappointing since. However, the return to this trip should help and she certainly merits strong consideration. Navajo Joe has yet to win on the turf and there was no obvious sign of a return to form at Catterick last month. He is best watched at present and we will stick with Yorkshire Blue as the one to beat.
