Benandonner has slipped to the same mark that he won off at Ripon In June and Richard Fahey's gelding has to be respected but he has been well held in recent starts and looks best watched in a race taken to go to ROYAL DIGNITARY who gets the vote with Opus Maximus rated the best of the rest. The selection has been running well in claimers of late but returns to a handicap today off a decent looking mark. White Deer won well at Thirsk in June but has disappointed since then so looks best watched, while Kings Point looks the clear second best of the two runners in the race trained by David Nicholls. Kevin Ryan's Flawed Genius has struggled in handicaps since winning a claimer at Doncaster in July and of more interest may be Opus Maximus. Mark Johnston's gelding ran no sort of race at Ripon last time but earlier form is solid and he has solid claims but preference is for Royal Dignitary.
