Spinning Lucy has the best form on offer and really should win; Ibis is an interesting newcomer and she makes the shortlist along with Anne Of Kiev. The winner comes here on the back of a good third in a competitive Newmarket maiden and with today's ground likely to suit, she can get off the mark at the fifth time of asking. Officially rated 82 she is some way clear of those who have raced to date, so the dangers may come from the newcomers. The market has proved invaluable when assessing Godolphin debutantes of late; if the market speaks in favour of Ibis, a $100,000 purchase whose price rose as a two-year-old, then she should go well. Anne Of Kiev is another one to consider; an expensive purchase, this daughter of successful sire Oasis Dream should run well. Expect improvement from Island Music and Pivernia, and whilst Hasty Lady has shaped with promise to date she is starting to look a little hard to win with and so we have no worries with returning to Spinning Lucy as the selection.
