Question marks abound as Fazza is best with some cut, Valantino Oyster is inconsistent but does go well here and is a course and distance winner, as is Morocco who is struggling for form. Ronya has been competing in sellers and claimers and Hussar Ballad hasn't been seen on turf since last October. San Cassiano is another with a course and distance victory to his name and has dropped over a stone in the weights over the past year and is at his best on quick ground. He'd be the one to beat if rediscovering his touch but MAGNOLIA RIDGE is preferred. He ran his best race for some time when third behind Chapter And Verse at Leicester on his penultimate before running a shocker when a tailed-off favourite next time up. He's hardly a strong recommendation but a return to that Leicester form would see him go close and Shane Gray is a good booking.
