    Verdict

KIWAYU is the only course and distance winner in the line-up and followed his victory here last month with a cracking effort in a much better race over 1m4f at York. He can actually race from a 2lb lower mark than that run and gets the vote. Roc De Prince arrives in good heart having comfortably landed a 2m handicap in a slightly better grade at Catterick so he's an obvious threat. Politbureau won two handicaps at this level last spring and is very consistent though he's 11lb higher than his last victory. Christmas Hamper won a 2m handicap at Musselburgh but has found it tougher going in slightly higher class from his new mark.
