ONE COOL DREAM is the call in the nightcap with Doric Echo and Gower Valentine worthy of respect. Walter Swinburn's team appear to be in good order at present and whilst this filly was allowed to go off at decent odds on debut at Leicester; she acquitted herself well to the rough and tumble of handicaps and could well prosper for the return to an extra furlong. Doric Echo is capable though frustrating. His latest run at Southwell can be safely overlooked and the handicapper is at least playing his part in the equation. Gower Valentine did not enjoy the clearest of paths when finishing ahead of our selection at Leicester. Whether the step up in trip works in her favour is a matter of debate. Liberty Trail is a fairly workmanlike individual that seems capable of acting on any surface. Connections appear to have taken a substantial rethink about Amethyst Dawn's direction and middle distances are out now. Both she and Future Gem have been hammering the door down as far as winning is concerned. The high drawn pair of Timeless Dream and Cook's Endeavour are both capable of winning this if running up to their best form and are worthy of active consideration should any draw bias towards high numbers appear. One Cool Dream secures the nomination.
