      Verdict

This nursery looks the most competitive race on the card and although Flaneur has looked progressive since joining these ranks, we think EIGHT HOURS is potentially well treated on his debut in this sphere with Pintura also making the shortlist. After winning a maiden on his second start last time the pick has been allotted a mark of 61 for his nursery bow and considering that on his debut he was well ahead of an animal who has since won off a mark of 75 that rating looks light. Flanuer has looked good in two starts in this company including scoring well last time out. His mark has suffered to the tune of eights pounds and while he should still be improving that might be restrictive now stepping up in grade. Pintura ran really well in defeat against better opposition during Glorious Goodwood on his last start and off just a pound higher needs to be considered. Cian Rooney comes into this in good heart having landed a maiden the last time we saw him but he's not obviously well weighted which leaves us to conclude that Eight Hours looks best at the weights.
